Tonya Acosta brings almost two decades of dedicated experience in the childcare setting to North Star Academy. Her unwavering commitment to shaping early development has made her an invaluable addition to the North Star Academy family. With a non-expiring Director's Credential from the state of Texas and her current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Human Resources and Business Management, Tonya's passion for early childhood development is undeniable. She firmly believes that these formative years set the foundation for lifelong learning, and she's dedicated to providing the best educational environment for young minds to flourish. Outside of her professional endeavors, Tonya's life is enriched by her family. She and her partner have the privilege of parenting five children, along with the delightful company of two Golden Doodles. Sports, movies, and traveling are shared passions that bind their family together. Tonya is excited to connect with and build strong bonds with all North Star Academy families, knowing that the impact on a child's early development is a lifelong gift.

Veronica Freeman is the Program Director at North Star Academy, having joined the team as a toddler assistant in October 2014. With a deep understanding of the significance of early childhood education, Veronica quickly progressed to become a lead teacher and, after returning from maternity leave, took on the role of Program Coordinator. As a mother of four children, all of whom have grown up at North Star Academy, Veronica knows firsthand the importance of education in early childhood and is dedicated to providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Her passion, recent Director Certificate, and extensive experience make her an invaluable asset to NSA's leadership team. We are fortunate to have Veronica on our team, knowing that she will continue to positively impact the lives of the children and families at North Star Academy.
